Short Description: In April of 2022, the state House of Representatives approved a proviso to study mobile driver’s licenses and their adoption in the state. The South Carolina DMV is charged with authoring recommendations on adopting mobile identities by the end of the fiscal year. Nov 22, Maranda Williams, Director for the South Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles noted she is exploring mDL availability with Apple.
