Short Description: FLHSMV’s Florida Smart ID program launched in November 2021 with Smart ID wallet for FL License holders, and Verifier applications in both App and Play Stores, in compliance with Florida Statutes 322.15 and 322.032. In October 2022, Thales, provider of the Florida Smart ID wallet, was the first to receive UL Solutions’ independent certification for meeting the ISO/IEC global standard for secure mDL applications. In Q2 2023 FLHSM added Vehicle Registration and Insurance credentials to Florida Smart ID Wallet.
